A special night at the movies

The first official TCL screening.

The Celluloid Lounge was built around a simple idea: moviegoing should feel like more than watching something on a screen.

This October, that idea becomes something you can actually attend. Screamwalkers marks the first official screening presented by The Celluloid Lounge in Coral Springs — an evening built around film, conversation, and the people in the room.

After the 62-minute film, Sean Q. King will join us live by Zoom for a conversation and audience Q&A.

About the film

Screamwalkers

Young CJ Wyatt finds herself at the center of a series of strange killings in her hometown. As each of her friends is murdered, CJ realizes the killer is drawing her closer to a terrifying truth — the mystery of the Screamwalkers.

Shot on VHS and built with the energy of independent genre filmmaking, Screamwalkers arrives at TCL as more than a screening. It becomes the centerpiece of a night designed around discovery, conversation, and seeing independent work with an audience.

One film. One room. One conversation after the credits.
